The motion pictures “Hearts and Minds” and “First Blood” both equally depict the years after the Vietnam War in America. “Hearts and Minds”, which is a documentary, displays how war veterans and individuals during that period contributed to the war. The documentary reveals veterans and their particular accounts pertaining to situations in Vietnam and just how it had damaged their lives. First Blood is likewise about a Vietnam veteran that is dealt with horribly for no reason when he has to deal with the anti-war protestors when he returns home to America.

The documentary film (“Hearts and Minds”) as well as First Blood, offers some thorough and graphic pictures of the bloody events that were all too common in Vietnam. Events including the My Lai Massacre were described in the documentary which properly portrays how awful and dreadful the war was. The Massacre also shows why the protestors at home hated the war a lot which in turn induced so many riots during that time period. In both movies, veterans were treated terribly as they were bashed and put down directly after they returned home from the war. Whether they were pro war or against it, they were torn apart by Americans who disliked them just for the fact that they were included in the war.

In “First Blood”, the top character John Rambo comes back to The united states and is resented and utterly omitted from society. In the beginning of the flick he goes in a small town to find something to eat but is instantly kicked out. Since Rambo believed he did nothing wrong, he decides to go back to the community and not leave. When he does this, the police arrest and virtually tortured him, reminding him of the unbearable days in Vietnam. While he is being tortured, he impressively battles back and escapes. From that point on he goes through a huge battle trying to hide and fighting off the police who are trying to catch him. He uses his superb battle skills he learned in Vietnam to fight them off. At no point do the police give up and let him go, they just assume he is the enemy for the reason that he came out of the Vietnam War. For the first period in American history, war veterans were not honored but looked down upon after they returned from a war. The Vietnam War was one of the bloodiest and most questionable war ever and this is confirmed by what the veterans who arrived out of the war had to deal with when they arrived home. Most of the veterans just wanted to come home and enjoy themselves after they worked really hard and risked their life fighting for their nation. Unfortunately, instead of coming home to peace and a warm welcome, they were faced with anti-war protestors who developed yet another war at home…the veterans vs. the protestors. Regretfully many of these veterans also began smoking a great deal. Back then smoking wasn’t yet viewed as a dangerous thing to do. Vaporizers didn’t exist and thus they were unable to know that they could buy volcano vaporizer which could be a significantly healthier way to light up.

Protestors of the Vietnam War try to force peace but fail miserably despite putting their entire hearts and souls into the movement. I really think that everyone should take a moment to do some reading on the vietnam war, the veterans, and the oppression. There are so many things I learned, and I now hold a much higher respect for our veterans.

Normally I wouldn’t write about something like this, but I have become a firm believer that fitness greatly improves you sleep. If you do not want to read a fitness article, please stop here. I got the idea to write this article after reading this p90x review

What does being fit really mean? Does it mean you look skinny but don’t exercise or eat right? Does it mean you go to the gym everyday for three hours and eat few times a day? Does it mean eating cabbage soup for a month? Well for me being fit is being healthy, having energy to do the simple things in life like climb up the stairs without breaking a sweat and having a healthy heart.

With our busy lifestyles, school, work, kids, cleaning, cooking, and so on, who really has the time to go to the gym and work out? What will motivate us to get up and actually work out, change our lifestyle and eating habits? I know what made me change my lifestyle, going to the doctor at age 21 and finding out that I had very high cholesterol, higher then my overweight mother. I’m actually skinny, try to eat organic or natural products, avoided the fast food chains since I was 16, yet I was the one with the high cholesterol. I realized that one thing that I don’t do, and actually avoided, was working out.

It was easy to go to the gym in high school because you were forced to and would fail if you came unprepared three times. Who will judge you when you are out of high school and out into the real world? Who will force you to eat your vegetables and exercise for at least an hour? We are the ones that have to take care of ourselves and no one else can force us to do it otherwise.

A lot of people think ‘skinny’ when they think of exercise or diet but being skinny has its own set of health problems. We don’t have to be skinny to be healthy; we just have to eat right and exercise. Saying it is a lot easier than doing it, but ‘that’s how the cookie crumbles’. I’ve found that five minute yoga and stretch out of the bed is really not exercise but my own little hope that it was. Over the past two years I’ve avoided the doctor’s office and stuck with P90X instead. It has turned a small 5’3 weak and skinny girl into a very energetic and healthy woman.

If you are looking to turn around and have more energy, change your life around for the better and live longer then I suggest you click here to learn where to buy P90X! It has changed my cooking and eating habits as well as improved my physical health. If you are looking for a change and find that 5 minute yoga is not for you either, then try P90X. You can’t hurt your health by trying it, you can only improve it.

I remember how my uncle had early versions of Wolverine boots back then, because I would often ask what he was wearing. I am happy to say that these boots never needed to be replaced.
Like you I find it can be difficult to find a good company when I decide to buy new glasses. Often times after buying glasses I find that they are made of cheap quality materials and just poor manufacturing. If you search for new glasses you will no doubt stumble upon a sea of potential companies to buy from that you know nothing about.

What you really need is a company that stands by its products. You need a company that only releases the highest quality glasses available. Introducing ZenniOptical, the number 1 eyeglasses store on the internet. Why is ZenniOptical the best? Simple, they stand by their product. Not only that they have the lowest prices in the industry.

Many opticians will tell you not to order you next pair of glasses through ZenniOptical.com Why? They don’t want to provide you with information about your own eyes so that ZenniOptical can fit your eyeglasses properly. The information they are withholding is your Pupillary Distance or PD. PD is the distance between the pupils of your eyes, in Millimeters center to center.

I encourage those interested in this debate to add a comment, and tell me what you think. Are Opticians really considering whats best for you? Do they have your best interests in mind when they withhold your Pupillary Distance information?

One of my reader’s recently linked me to his website about P90x and I thought it would be a good topic to mention as I plan to start the workout routine myself next month. P90x is a workout DVD that takes roughly one hour per day seven days a week and whoops your butt into shape in only 90 days. It uses muscle confusion to constantly change things up and supposedly this greatly improves the results people see in a very short time. You can check out his P90x Reviews blog and read more about it if you are interested. He also has a page about how to safely buy p90x cheaply without getting a knockoff or counterfeit (Which is evidently very common since p90x is such a huge success)

I also found this really good p90x review from an average guy. He went through the whole program and documented everything the entire way through.

Like you, I am tired of paying an arm and leg or sometimes even more for eyeglasses when shopping for them in local stores. You have no doubt seen the many stores in your area or at your mall or shopping center that sell glasses for prices that really break the bank. In our tough economic times we need a better way to buy eyeglasses but we also need a company who doesn’t lack in quality.

That’s why I love to shop for eyeglasses at Zenni Optical, not only do they have a large selection of the latest eyeglasses but their glasses are manufactured with the care and quality you need and deserve. The cost for prescription eyeglasses start at just $8.00, you read that right $8.00 for a complete pair of frames.

Often times when vacationing or simply away from home I have files I need to access on my computer from my laptop but of course I am unable too. I first heard of the ability to remotely access my PC via TV commercials a few years ago.

The ability to remotely access your PC from anywhere can be extremely beneficial especially to individuals who need access to their office computers. Like you I have been frustrated because I could not access my computer at home where a file that I needed was stored.

Fortunately I found a company that is not only reputable but also has fantastic support should you have a problem, they’re called RemotePC and they specialize in remote access to your PC at your office home or anywhere your PC is located. The only requirement is to have internet access at both points.

With some of the other company’s you will get slower performance, but RemotePC prides itself in providing the best performance possible. Also their security is second to none when it comes to protecting your files from unwanted party’s during transfer or viewing of your files.

RemotePC also has tremendous value, prices at $4.95 a month for a single PC connection. Prices vary for larger orders, but RemotePC can handle larger consumer needs as well.

If you have a chance check out RemotePC if you need to access your PC from another location. Also they offer a risk free thirty day trial of their service so that you know you will be completely satisfied.
